EHang Holdings Limited announced strong financial results for the second quarter of 2025, with revenues up 44.2% year-over-year and a significant increase of 464.0% quarter-over-quarter to RMB147.2 million. The company also maintained a high gross margin of 62.6% and strengthened its liquidity position with US$23.8 million from an equity offering. EHang launched commercial operations for its EH216-S model in Guangzhou and Hefei and established a product hub in Hefei through local government collaboration. In the second quarter of 2025, EHang delivered 68 units of its EH216 series eVTOL aircraft to enterprise clients across multiple Chinese provinces and Japan. The company received new orders for over 150 units of the EH216 series, demonstrating strong market demand. EHang also achieved over 10,000 safe flights in the first half of 2025 and launched trial commercial operations with two certified operators for the EH216-S model. Additionally, EHang strengthened its supply chain and technology partnerships, developed next-generation products, and collaborated with the Hefei government to accelerate the development of its VT35 series. The company also launched the “Tsinghua University-EHang Joint Institute for Low Altitude Aviation Technology” to foster R&D breakthroughs. EHang reported an operating loss of RMB78.1 million, a slight increase from the same period last year but a decrease from the previous quarter. The company’s adjusted operating loss was RMB1.9 million, showing a significant reduction. Adjusted net income was RMB9.4 million, compared to a loss in the same period last year and the previous quarter. EHang revised its 2025 revenue guidance to approximately RMB500 million to focus on expanding commercial eVTOL operations and developing operational demonstration models. The company aims to position itself for stronger growth as a product manufacturer and service provider in the future.
