WWE’s biggest live events, including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam, will be available on ESPN for $325 million per year for five years starting in 2026. Previously, NBCUniversal’s Peacock paid $180 million per year for five years. The events will stream on ESPN’s new $29.99 per month platform, with select events simulcast on linear networks.

Disney reported a 1% increase in domestic ESPN revenue to $3.93 billion in quarterly earnings. WWE President Nick Khan noted that 38% of WWE’s audience is women, and about 50% of event attendees come with children. ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro sees the partnership as a way to expand the network’s audience, especially with the launch of their streaming service.

In addition to the deal with ESPN, WWE has a 10-year, $5 billion agreement with Netflix to stream “Raw” every Monday starting this year. “SmackDown” will continue to stream on Peacock until 2029. Comcast owns NBCUniversal, the parent company of CNBC and USA Network. ESPN will hold the rights to stream WWE premium live events in the U.S., while Netflix will have those rights outside the country.
