Private equity firm Genstar Capital is looking to sell OEConnection, an automotive software provider valued at potentially $5 billion, including debt. OEConnection, based in Ohio, generates $200 million in EBITDA and $400 million in revenue annually. Genstar acquired OEConnection in 2019 from Providence Equity, with Ford and General Motors holding minority stakes. Investment bankers at Evercore are advising on the sale process.
