Halliburton has been awarded a five-year contract by ConocoPhillips Skandinavia to provide well stimulation services in the North Sea, with options for three extensions. The aim is to boost well performance and reservoir productivity. The contract includes transforming Tidewater’s ship into a stimulation vessel.

The upgrade will incorporate Halliburton’s Octiv digital fracturing services to enhance operational efficiency. Mark Dawson, Halliburton’s senior vice-president, highlighted the importance of the award and the company’s commitment to automation and safety. ConocoPhillips operates in 15 countries and focuses on efficient oil and gas production.

ConocoPhillips recently finished drilling a second appraisal well at the Slagugle oil discovery in the Norwegian Sea.
