HUTCHMED completes patient enrollment for SANOVO Phase III trial in China for ORPATHYS® and TAGRISSO® combination as first-line treatment for NSCLC patients with EGFR mutation and MET overexpression. Topline results expected in late 2026, potentially leading to a supplemental NDA submission in China. ORPATHYS® is a MET TKI and TAGRISSO® is an EGFR TKI. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death, with NSCLC accounting for 80-85% of cases. MET aberrations can lead to tumor growth and resistance to EGFR TKIs. ORPATHYS® is approved in China for NSCLC with MET alterations and under development for various cancers. TAGRISSO® has shown clinical activity in NSCLC and is being studied in combination with ORPATHYS® in several Phase III trials for EGFRm NSCLC patients.
