Stellantis announced a $41 million investment to expand its parts distribution network, causing shares to slip. The new 422,000-square-foot Mopar Parts Distribution Center in Georgia aims to streamline operations and support 90 union-represented positions. The facility will feature advanced technology, including a 16,000-square-foot AutoStore system.

The AutoStore system, with 66 robots, will optimize warehouse space and accelerate fulfillment. The Forsyth project aligns with Stellantis’ commitment to lowering environmental impact, integrating energy-saving equipment and green building practices. Mopar, the service and parts brand, will manage the site, part of Stellantis’ $500 million distribution investments in North America this year.

STLA stock has decreased over 43% in the past year, currently trading at $9.47. Stellantis previously committed $388 million to a Mopar Megahub in Detroit and opened a $64 million center in New York. The company’s distribution investments in North America now total nearly $500 million this year.
