Toy company Pop Mart is capitalizing on the success of its Labubu dolls, with projected revenue of $4.18 billion this year, up from $2.78 billion in 2025. Net profit rose 400% in the first half of the year, driven by strong sales in North America and Asia Pacific. Shares surged 15% on Wednesday.
Pop Mart plans to open more stores in the U.S. and explore emerging markets in Central and South America, the Middle East, and Central Europe. The Labubu craze began in 2024 and has seen revenue growth of over 1,200% year-on-year, accounting for 22% of total revenue last year. However, industry experts predict the trend may fade by the end of 2025.
