Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:LUMN) is one of the worst-performing stocks, with share prices falling by 16.63% on Friday after disappointing second-quarter earnings. The company reported a net loss widening by 1,767% to $915 million from $49 million last year, with revenues decreasing by 5% to $3.09 billion from $3.27 billion. In the first half of the year, LUMN swung to a net loss of $1.1 billion from a net profit of $8 million in the same period last year, with revenues dropping by 4% to $6.27 billion from $6.56 billion. CEO Kate Johnson stated that the company is focusing on building a stronger and more modern company.
