The stock market remained calm at the start of Wednesday’s session, but Wall Street hesitated to buy the recent dip in some of this year’s biggest winners.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 60 points, or 0.1%, while the S&P 500 was down by 0.2% and the Nasdaq Composite fell by 0.6%.

Tech stocks experienced a sharp decline on Tuesday as traders chose to sell stocks with strong momentum, growth prospects, and riskier profiles. Stocks like Palantir Technologies, which have been driving this year’s rally, were down again on Wednesday.
