The organization aims to educate policymakers and promote public advocacy for emerging technologies like AI and blockchain. Digital Currency Group contributed $1 million towards funding.

AIP board members, US lawmakers, and industry leaders are attending the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium in Jackson Hole. Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott previewed plans to pass a market structure bill in September. SEC Chair Paul Atkins suggested a different approach to treating tokens as securities under his leadership. The organization will bridge the gap between the crypto-focused symposium and the Federal Reserve’s Economic Policy Symposium.
