Blackwell Data Center revenue grew by 17% sequentially. There were no H20 sales to China-based customers in Q2, benefiting from a $180 million release of previously reserved H20 inventory.
GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins for the quarter were 72.4% and 72.7%, respectively. Excluding the $180 million release, non-GAAP gross margin would have been 72.3%. GAAP and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share were $1.08 and $1.05, respectively. Excluding the $180 million release, non-GAAP diluted earnings per share would have been $1.04. NVIDIA returned $24.3 billion to shareholders in the first half of fiscal 2026.
NVIDIA’s Q2 fiscal 2026 revenue was $46.7 billion, up 6% from Q1 and up 56% from a year ago. Gross margin was 72.4%, operating expenses were $5,413 million, and net income was $26,422 million. Diluted earnings per share were $1.08. NVIDIA expects revenue of $54.0 billion for Q3, with a gross margin of 73.3%, and operating expenses of approximately $5.9 billion.
NVIDIA achieved significant progress in various areas during Q2. In the Data Center sector, revenue was $41.1 billion, up 5% from Q1 and up 56% from a year ago. NVIDIA announced the Blackwell Server Edition GPU, partnerships with European nations to build AI infrastructure, and collaborations with global partners to accelerate AI supercomputers. In Gaming, revenue was $4.3 billion, up 14% from Q1 and up 49% from a year ago. NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 5060 and made DLSS 4 technology available in over 175 games and apps. Professional Visualization revenue was $601 million, up 18% from Q1 and up 32% from a year ago. NVIDIA announced new GPUs and expanded partnerships to accelerate AI capabilities in manufacturing. In Automotive, revenue was $586 million, up 3% from Q1 and up 69% from a year ago. NVIDIA announced advancements in AV software platforms and launched new AI supercomputers designed for robots.
