NVIDIA has unveiled NVIDIA Spectrum-XGS Ethernet, a technology that allows distributed data centers to combine into unified AI super-factories. This breakthrough technology enables data centers to scale beyond individual buildings, connecting multiple centers to form massive AI super-factories. Spectrum-XGS Ethernet is integrated into the Spectrum-X platform and offers advanced features like distance congestion control and precision latency management to nearly double the performance of the NVIDIA Collective Communications Library. Hyperscale pioneers like CoreWeave are already embracing this new infrastructure to accelerate breakthroughs in AI across various industries.
The Spectrum-X Ethernet platform, including NVIDIA Spectrum-X switches and NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNICs, provides greater bandwidth density than off-the-shelf Ethernet for multi-tenant, hyperscale AI factories. NVIDIA continues to innovate in networking technologies, with recent announcements including NVIDIA Spectrum-X and NVIDIA Quantum-X silicon photonics networking switches. NVIDIA Spectrum-XGS Ethernet is now available as part of the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet platform. Learn more about this groundbreaking technology at the Hot Chips conference.
