Paramount plans to lay off between 2,000 and 3,000 employees following its merger with Skydance Media. The layoffs are expected to start in early November. The merger, which was delayed as they awaited FCC approval, was announced in July 2024. The deal values the new entity, New Paramount, at around $28 billion.
