Soybeans prices dropped on Thursday, with contracts falling up to 16 ½ cents. August futures expired at $10.08 ½. Cash Bean prices also fell to $9.65 1/4. Soymeal futures went down $1.80 to $3.30/ton, while Soy Oil futures dropped 76 to 140 points.

Export Sales data showed net reductions of 377,610 MT old crop sales, with new crop business totaling 1.133 MMT. Meal bookings were 272,970 MT, and bean oil sales were just 732 MT. The Brazilian soybean crop increased to 169.65 MMT, with estimates projecting 170.3 MMT.

NOPA data to be released on Friday, with analysts expecting 191.59 mbu of soybeans crushed in July. Soybean Oil stocks are estimated at 1.38 billion lbs. Soybean futures closed at $10.08 1/2, down 3 1/4 cents, while nearby Cash was at $9.65 1/4, down 16 3/4 cents. Nov 25 Soybeans closed at $10.28 1/2, down 15 3/4 cents.
