The Wendy’s Company reported a net income of $55.1m in Q2 2025, a 0.9% increase from the previous year. Total revenues for the quarter were $560.9m, a 1.7% decrease, attributed to lower sales and royalty revenue. Global systemwide sales were $3.7bn, down 1.8%.

Operating profit for Q2 2025 was $104.3m, up 4.8% from the previous year. Diluted earnings per share were $0.29, a 7.4% increase. The company added 26 net new restaurants during the quarter, with strong international sales growth.

Interim CEO Ken Cook highlighted the addition of 44 new restaurants in the second quarter, bringing the total to 118 for the year. He emphasized the need to improve US business performance through franchisee relationships, marketing effectiveness, and customer experience enhancements.
