Digital-first retailer Wayfair reported $3.3bn in total net revenue, a 5% increase YoY in Q2 of FY25. Excluding the impact of exiting the German market, revenue grew by 6% YoY, with the US market contributing $2.9bn. International revenue increased by 3.1% to $399m, with constant currency growth at 2.1%.

Gross profit reached $984m, representing 30.1% of total net revenue. Net income was $15m, non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA at $205m. Diluted earnings per share were $0.11. Operating activities generated $273m in net cash, non-GAAP free cash flow was $230m. Wayfair ended the quarter with $1.4bn in cash and short-term investments.

CEO Niraj Shah expressed success in Q2, with accelerating sales and share gain. Revenue growth, excluding Germany, hit 6%, the highest since early 2021. Adjusted EBITDA margin exceeded 6%, showcasing significant leverage in the company’s model.

Despite a 4.5% decrease in active customer count to 21 million, revenue per active customer rose by 5.9% to $572. Orders per customer slightly increased to 1.86, with 80.7% of orders coming from repeat customers. The average order value rose to $328, with 62.9% of orders placed via mobile devices.

Wayfair’s portfolio includes brands like AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, Perigold, and Wayfair Professional. In June 2025, Perigold opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Houston, Texas, expanding its offerings beyond online. The company remains optimistic about future growth and profitability in 2025 and beyond.
