Christopher Harvey, head of equity strategy for Wells Fargo Securities LLC, has left the firm after 12 years. He was responsible for establishing the firm’s equity market outlook, including its S&P 500 Index price target and earnings forecast. Ohsung Kwon will take over his position. Harvey was known for his bullish stance on the market, maintaining a year-end S&P 500 target of 7,007. He believed Big Tech would continue to drive market gains. Prior to Wells Fargo, Harvey held positions at State Street Investment Management, Munich Re/MEAG, and Weeden & Co. Wells Fargo declined to comment on his departure.
