Wheat trading was mixed on Wednesday, with spring wheat showing weakness. The KC market led the way, up 6 to 7 cents, while CBT futures were slightly higher. MPLS spring wheat was steady to 1 ½ cents lower. Analysts expect 350,000 to 600,000 MT of wheat to be sold in the week ending July 31. A South Korean importer bought 60,000 MT of wheat in a private deal. Sep 25 CBOT Wheat closed at $5.08 1/2, up 1/4 cent, and Dec 25 CBOT Wheat closed at $5.29 1/4, up 3/4 cent. Sep 25 KCBT Wheat closed at $5.11 1/2, up 7 cents, while Dec 25 KCBT Wheat closed at $5.32, up 6 3/4 cents. Sep 25 MGEX Wheat closed at $5.69 3/4, down 1 1/2 cents, and Dec 25 MGEX Wheat closed at $5.92 1/4, down 1/4 cent.
