Yum! Brands reported a net income of $374m in Q2 of 2025, a slight increase from the previous year. EPS stood at $1.33, with a 7% rise excluding special items. Worldwide system sales grew by 4%, with Taco Bell leading at 6% and KFC at 5%.
The company added 871 new units globally, marking a 3% increase. Digital sales surpassed $9bn, accounting for 57% of the digital mix. KFC’s international unit growth was 7%, opening 566 new outlets across 58 countries.
Despite a 5% decline in US same-store sales, KFC maintained 2% growth globally. Pizza Hut faced challenges with a 1% drop in global same-store sales. Taco Bell showed strong growth with a 6% increase in US system sales.
Chris Turner was appointed as Yum! Brands’ new CEO. The company’s bold food innovation and digital transformation led to positive results. Yum! Brands reaffirmed its long-term financial targets, aiming for 7% system sales growth and 5% unit growth.
Taco Bell plans to expand its Live Más Café concept to 30 locations by 2025. Yum! Brands’ CEO, David Gibbs, praised the performance of Taco Bell and KFC International. The company remains focused on growth and innovation across its brands.
