Amazon (AMZN) Launches AI-Powered Seller Assistant
Amazon (AMZN) has upgraded its Seller Assistant AI with agentic capabilities to help third-party merchants manage inventory, growth plans, and account issues.
The tool aims to streamline operations and prevent costly suspensions. Generative AI tools like product listing generators and ad creators already support over half of goods sold by third-party sellers on Amazon. The Seller Assistant, which has been used by 1.3 million sellers, acts as a virtual team of experts in pricing, promotions, and supply chain. Future updates will add more capabilities based on seller feedback. Amazon does not plan to charge merchants for using Seller Assistant. Third-party seller services generated $40.3 billion in revenue in the second quarter. AMZN closed at $231.62.
