Boeing ($BA) defense workers in Missouri and Illinois rejected the company’s contract proposal, extending a strike that began on August 4. The proposed contract included a 45% average wage growth and a $4,000 ratification bonus. 78% of workers had potential for wage growth above 45%. Union workers cited insufficient signing bonus and lack of 401K benefit improvements for rejecting the deal. Boeing stock fell 1.7% during the vote.
