C&C Group, maker of Bulmers cider, reported a 4% drop in first-half revenues and CFO Andrew Andrea’s departure. Revenues in the first half of fiscal 2024/25 were €861.4m. The decline is attributed to lower distribution revenues due to changes in beer distribution in Ireland. Operating profit is expected to be €41.5-€42m. Andrea will leave in March to join Domino’s Pizza Group.

The search for a new CFO at C&C Group is underway. Tennent’s and Bulmers brands performed well in revenue growth. After taking back control of Magners UK, the company is working on revitalizing the brand with new marketing campaigns. Premium products are gaining distribution in on-trade and off-trade channels.

Despite economic challenges, C&C Group plans to invest further for growth. CEO Roger White praised Andrea’s contribution to business stabilization and improvement. The group remains on track to meet market expectations for operating profit. White was appointed as CEO in January after a six-month search.
