Capstone Infrastructure Corporation successfully commissions the 192 MW Wild Rose 2 Wind Farm in Cypress County, Alberta. This project marks a major milestone for Capstone, surpassing 1 GW of installed capacity across their operating fleet. The Wild Rose 2 Wind Farm has offtake agreements with Pembina Pipeline and the City of Edmonton, providing renewable energy solutions for both the private and public sectors. Capstone celebrated this achievement at a ribbon-cutting event with various stakeholders, including local officials and representatives from Pembina Pipeline and the City of Edmonton. The facility is expected to generate enough electricity to power nearly 80,000 Alberta homes annually and avoid nearly 250,000 metric tonnes of CO2e emissions per year.
