EQT Corporation secures 1.0 million tonnes per annum of liquefaction capacity under a 20-year Sale and Purchase Agreement with Commonwealth LNG in Louisiana. EQT will purchase LNG on a free-on-board basis at a price indexed to Henry Hub, expanding its global energy market presence.

President and CEO of EQT, Toby Z. Rice, sees the agreement as a step towards connecting U.S. natural gas supply to global demand. Commonwealth LNG’s Chairman, Ben Dell, highlights the integration of EQT’s scale with their efficient modular LNG design as a solution for global energy buyers.
