Etherealize raises $40 million in Series A funding to develop infrastructure for Wall Street to adopt Ethereum. The funding will support the creation of zero-knowledge privacy systems, settlement engines, and applications for tokenized fixed-income markets, as well as position ETH as an institutional reserve asset.

Co-founder Danny Ryan describes the funding as the start of the ‘Institutional Merge’, upgrading institutional finance to modern, safer, and globally accessible rails. Etherealize’s efforts align with recent institutional developments on Ethereum, such as BlackRock launching a tokenized money market fund on Ethereum and JPMorgan’s Kinexys platform for real-world asset tokenization.

The funding will enable Etherealize to accelerate the development of financial infrastructure to establish Ethereum as the backbone of institutional markets. The company aims to participate in regulatory discussions on Capitol Hill and promote the adoption of blockchain-based asset issuance in the financial sector.
