The European Commission fines Google $3.5 billion for antitrust violations related to online display advertising services. Google ordered to end self-preferencing practices and address conflicts of interest in adtech supply chain. Google has 60 days to propose measures to comply with Commission’s ruling. Commission will assess Google’s response and impose remedy if conflicts of interest are not resolved. Google’s stock price is currently trading at $235.02, up 1.01 percent on the Nasdaq.
