The factory integrates AI and smart manufacturing, employs Physical AI and Digital Kaizen for continuous improvement. It monitors supply chains in real-time, uses 3D printing for local component production, and aims for zero CO2 emissions with solar power. Hitachi Rail CEO anticipates delivering 20 rail cars per month to North America, including Washington D.C.
