InterCure Ltd. announced the acquisition of Botanico Ltd., or ISHI, to strengthen its global cannabis portfolio and enter the U.S. market. This move comes as the Trump administration considers rescheduling cannabis, potentially shaping the industry for international operators like InterCure. Through the acquisition, InterCure gains access to advanced cultivation technologies and brand partnerships with top U.S. operators, including The Flowery, a Florida-based medical cannabis firm. The agreement is structured in two phases, with InterCure initially purchasing half of ISHI’s equity using shares, with the remainder to be acquired upon ISHI’s sustained profitability. The deal equates to about 10% of InterCure’s outstanding stock. ISHI’s co-founders will join InterCure’s leadership team, and all employee stock options will convert to InterCure options. This acquisition will enable InterCure to broaden its international reach while maintaining pharmaceutical-grade standards. InterCure CEO Alexander Rabinovich called the acquisition a significant milestone, positioning the company to capitalize on regulatory momentum and access to U.S. brands. INCR shares were trading higher at $1.500 at last check on Friday.
