Israeli high-tech companies raised $11.9 billion in funding in the first three quarters of 2025, a 13% increase from the previous year. Despite a 22% decrease in the number of deals, cybersecurity firms led the way. Mergers and acquisitions hit a record $71 billion, with Alphabet acquiring Wiz for $32 billion and Palo Alto Networks purchasing CyberArk for $25 billion. The tech sector in Israel accounts for 20% of GDP, 15% of jobs, and over 50% of exports. In the third quarter alone, Israeli tech firms raised $2.4 billion, up 9% from 2024, but down 50% from the second quarter.
