JetBlue Airways CEO Joanna Geraghty discussed the challenges of 2025, emphasizing the airline’s strength in serving premium customers. The company expects a smaller decline in third-quarter revenue compared to earlier forecasts, with a projected loss of $1.63 for the fiscal year, according to Wall Street consensus.

JetBlue and United Airlines revealed a partnership called “Blue Sky” in May, allowing travelers to book flights on both carriers’ websites and earn points in their frequent flyer programs. Despite a grievance filed by JetBlue pilots, Geraghty defended the partnership, stating it will generate additional revenue and benefit all crew members.

JetBlue is expanding its footprint in Southern Florida, offering nine new nonstop routes across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. The airline plans to operate 113 daily flights this winter from Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, solidifying its position as the carrier with the most departures from the airport.
