Kao Corp. has announced a new strategy for its Cosmetics Business to achieve net sales of 400 billion yen and a 15% operating margin after 2030. The company will focus on six key brands and implement three overseas expansion models, leveraging technology and AI to enhance sales capabilities and reduce costs. Curél plans to increase its presence in Europe, while SENSAI and MOLTON BROWN will target the luxury market in Asia. Kao will adapt Japanese brand values to suit regional preferences in Thailand, aiming for significant sales growth by 2027. The company aims to strengthen its business foundation and drive innovation to maintain global leadership in the cosmetics industry.
