Landis+Gyr Group AG has agreed to sell its EMEA operations to Aurelius for $215 million, with the deal expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. The sale will result in a non-cash impairment charge of about $190 million. The deal includes the full metering portfolio and related software/services. The move is part of a strategic shift towards software and services solutions. Aurelius will acquire the EMEA business entirely, ensuring continuity for utilities and customers. The EMEA business generated $600 million in net revenue in 2024 and has about 2,700 employees across five production sites. Landis+Gyr closed trading 0.59% higher on Friday at CHF 68.
