Lavazza is launching a new digital unit as part of executive changes, focusing on brand development, product innovation, and digital transformation. Paola Francesca Scarpa is appointed as chief digital transformation officer, with a background in AI. Carlo Colpo becomes chief marketing officer, and Pietro Mazzà is named chief innovation officer.
Mazzà, previously regional director France & Benelux, will accelerate product development and sustainability. Emanuele Pellegrino, with over six years at Lavazza, becomes regional director UK & Nordics. All executives will report to CEO Antonio Baravalle in the company’s new organizational structure emphasizing digital transformation and innovation.
