The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) introduces blockchain-based platform for private funds, the first of its kind globally. The Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI) system, developed with Microsoft, enables full digital asset lifecycle from issuance to settlement, promoting interoperability between DLT and traditional finance systems. Private funds are the inaugural asset class on DMI, with more to follow.
Capital management firm MembersCap and London-based Archax join LSEG’s DMI platform, facilitating its debut transaction with the Cardano Foundation. Private funds on DMI will be accessible to Workspace users, connecting general partners and professional investors. This move marks LSEG’s commitment to supporting clients across the “full funding continuum,” with plans for additional asset classes in the future.
