The Thai stock market rebounded, closing just above 1,260 points on Friday. However, concerns about the American economy are expected to pressure the market on Monday. The SET index gained 12.25 points, driven by sectors like food, consumer, industrial, and technology. Trading volume was 11.426 billion shares worth 51.657 billion baht. On Wall Street, major averages ended lower on Friday, with the Dow slipping 220.44 points. The decline was due to weaker than expected U.S. job growth in August. Crude oil prices also fell as oversupply concerns grew ahead of OPEC’s meeting.
