Two new Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs) from biotech firms raised $402 million in private placements for Aethir (ATH) and Binance Coin (BNB). Predictive Oncology secured $344.4 million for an Aethir DAT, making it the first Nasdaq-listed firm to stack DePIN tokens. Aethir offers GPU-as-a-service solutions for AI, gaming, and cloud.
Applied DNA Sciences allocated $58 million for a private investment in public equity to become a BNB DAT, changing its ticker to BNBX. The firm secured $27 million in total commitments and has multi-year deals for asset management and strategic guidance. It plans to integrate active DeFi and Binance yield strategies to drive superior returns.
CEA Industries and Nano Labs hold a combined 516,888 BNB worth over $521.3 million, making them the third publicly listed BNB DAT. This departure from passive staking and validator strategies aims to generate additional yield through active integration of DeFi and Binance-specific strategies, maintaining flexibility and transparency for institutional investors.
