Roblox unveiled a new short-form video app, “Roblox Moments,” to boost user engagement and attract new users. The app allows players to capture, edit, and share gameplay clips on a common platform. With 111.8 million average daily active users as of June 30, Roblox aims to bring billions of views from platforms like YouTube to its own. The company is also focusing on e-commerce, socializing, and advertising to increase revenue. At a recent developers conference, CEO David Baszucki announced an 8.5% increase in earnings for creators converting Robux into money, with the creator community earning over $1 billion in the last year.
