Indian shares opened higher as trade talks between India and the U.S. resumed, focusing on resolving tariff disputes. The BSE Sensex rose by 232 points, while the NSE Nifty index increased by 65 points.

NTPC Green Energy saw a 4.3% surge after starting commercial operations of a 25 MW solar power project in Gujarat. Adani Enterprises gained 1% on securing a Rs. 4,081 crore order for a ropeway project. NCC rose by 2% after winning a Rs 2090.5 crore contract, and JSW Infrastructure increased by 1.2% due to a concession agreement.

Maruti Suzuki launched a new model, while Vodafone Idea dropped 2% ahead of a Supreme Court hearing on AGR demand.
