Soybeans closed lower on Wednesday, with contracts down 5 to 6 cents. Cash bean price was $9.47 1/2. Soymeal futures saw losses of $2.80 to $5.30, while Soy Oil futures were 36 to 54 points higher. CME reported 8 September soybean meal deliveries and 87 for bean oil.

Analysts anticipate 0.4-1.6 MMT of 2025/26 soybean sales in the week of 9/4. Soybean meal sales expected at 50,000-900,000 MT, with bean oil between 0-16,000 MT. The monthly Crop Production report is expected to show a 0.3 bpa drop in yield to 53.3 bpa on average.

Argentina soybean production estimated to be 47 MMT, down 2.5 MMT from last year. Sep 25 Soybeans closed at $10.05 1/2, down 6 cents. Nearby Cash was $9.47 1/2, down 5 3/4 cents. Nov 25 Soybeans closed at $10.25 1/4, down 6 cents. Jan 26 Soybeans closed at $10.44 3/4, down 5 3/4 cents. New Crop Cash was $9.47 1/2, down 5 3/4 cents.
