Soybeans saw losses of 9 to 13 ½ cents on Tuesday, with deliveries issued against September beans. Cash bean prices dropped 13 1/2 cents to $9.65 1/4. Soymeal futures were down $3.80 to $8.10, with 12 deliveries against September meal. Soy oil futures closed higher, with 403 deliveries against September bean oil. Crop progress data showed 94% of the US soybean crop setting pods, with condition ratings down 4% to 65%. The NASS Fats & Oils report indicated 204.73 mbu of soybeans crushed in July, below estimates but still up from last year. Export inspections showed 472,914 MT of soybeans shipped in the week ending August 28, with Vietnam as the top destination. Sep 25 soybeans closed at $10.25 3/4, down 11 cents.
