Soybeans opened Monday morning with gains of 6 to 7 cents, but closed the session down 3 to 4 cents. Cash bean prices dropped 4 1/4 cents to $9.66. Soymeal futures were down $2.30 to $2.70, while Soy Oil futures saw 12 point gains. Weekly crop progress data showed 41% of the US soybean crop dropping leaves and 5% harvested. NOPA data revealed 189.81 mbu of soybeans crushed in August, with soybean oil stocks at 1.245 billion lbs. Export inspections reported 804,352 MT of soybeans shipped, with Italy being the largest buyer. AgRural estimates the 2025/26 Brazil soybean crop at 0.12% planted. Nov 25 Soybeans closed at $10.42 3/4, down 3 1/2 cents. Nearby Cash was $9.66, down 4 1/4 cents. Jan 26 Soybeans closed at $10.61 3/4, down 3 1/2 cents. Mar 26 Soybeans closed at $10.76 1/2, down 3 3/4 cents.
