Stock Spirits Group will close its production facility in Hamburg, Germany in early 2027 due to rising costs. The decision was described as difficult but necessary for long-term competitiveness. The plant employs 36 people and produces pure alcohol for Stock Spirits’ products. Germany remains a key strategic market for the company. The closure follows the shutting down of the Baltic Distillery in Dettmannsdorf last year, which employed 35 staff. Stock Spirits recently acquired The Drinks Company in the UK to strengthen its presence in the market. Owned by CVC Capital Partners, the company’s portfolio includes brands like Keglevich vodka and Clan Campbell whisky.
