Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSM) plans to market a system built for managing and leveraging trade secrets in Europe and the US. The system was started in 2013 and has been adopted by 20 local firms, including ASE Technology Holding Co.
In Q2 2025, TSM’s revenue rose 11.3% quarter-over-quarter due to strong demand for its 3nm and 5nm technologies. The 3nm process accounted for 24% of total wafer revenue, with 5nm at 36% and 7nm at 14%. Capex on a consolidated basis was US$9.63 billion.
First Eagle Investments released a Q2 2025 investor letter praising TSM as the world’s largest semiconductor foundry. The company reported strong sales and an expanded contribution from AI, positioning it as the leading foundry for many customers.
