Private equity firm Tavistock is set to acquire a 76.59% stake in UK financial advisory company Lifetime for £5.95m. Lifetime offers a hybrid model of services, including financial advice, mortgages, investments, pensions, and more, with a focus on financial wellbeing solutions and technology integration.

CEO Ian Dickinson will retain the remaining stake in Lifetime, which integrates technology and AI into its services. The deal, subject to FCA approval, aims to provide affordable financial advice and investment solutions. COO Andy Wealthall highlighted Tavistock’s alignment with their mission to close the advice gap and enhance financial wellbeing accessibility.

Tavistock’s recent acquisition of Alpha Beta Partners in November 2024, an asset management firm, complements its strategy to expand investment solutions. The deal enhances Tavistock’s offerings for clients, including third-party advisory firms and retail customers.
