Telix Pharmaceuticals has dosed the first patient in a Phase 3 clinical trial to expand indications for Illuccix® and Gozellix® to include prostate cancer diagnosis. The BiPASS™ study aims to improve diagnostic accuracy by combining MRI and PSMA-PET imaging. The trial will enroll 204 patients in Australia and the U.S. The potential market expansion for Telix’s PSMA-PET imaging agents in the U.S. is estimated at 800,000 scans. The study builds on previous research showing the benefits of MRI + PSMA-PET imaging in prostate cancer diagnosis. Telix is focused on developing radiopharmaceuticals to address unmet medical needs in oncology and rare diseases.
