Tron’s fee reduction has caused a 64% revenue decline for its block producers, dropping total daily network fees to $5 million. Gas fees on Tron have decreased by 60% after implementing Proposal #789, slashing the energy unit price from 210 sun to 100 sun. This move aims to enhance the Tron ecosystem’s development.

Even with reduced gas fees, Tron still leads in revenue among layer-1 chains, capturing 92.8% of total revenue over the past seven days. Tron generated $1.1 billion in transaction fees over the last 90 days, surpassing Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, and Avalanche. Ethereum remains the top revenue generator over the past five years, with $13 billion compared to Tron’s $6.3 billion.
