Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has launched a new series of Automotive Grade AC line rated ceramic disc safety capacitors with a Y1 rating, the first in the industry to be offered in a surface-mount casing. These capacitors are designed for EMI/RFI suppression and filtering in harsh, high humidity environments, making them suitable for use in electric and hybrid vehicles. The capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified, RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free, with high humidity resistance.
