Waldencast plc announced that the FDA has approved Obagi saypha MagIQ injectable hyaluronic acid gel, the first product in the Obagi saypha collection. The launch in the U.S. is planned for 2026. Developed by Croma-Pharma GmbH, Obagi saypha MagIQ uses MACRO Core Technology for natural-looking results. In a Nasolabial Fold pivotal study, the product demonstrated non-inferiority to placebo. Waldencast sees this approval as a milestone in entering the U.S. HA dermal filler market through Obagi Medical, aiming to expand the brand’s market to $4.2 billion by 2029.
