The wheat market is seeing slight gains at midday, with CBT soft red wheat futures up 1 to 2 cents and KC HRW futures up 1 to 2 cents. There were 22 deliveries against September contracts, totaling 663. USDA reported wheat export shipments at 775,073 MT, with Mexico, Indonesia, and South Korea as top destinations. Spec traders in Chicago wheat futures added 10,451 contracts to their net short position, while in Kansas City, specs trimmed their position by 1,656 contracts. Prices for CBOT, KCBT, and MGEX wheat futures are up slightly.
