UK-based hospitality brand Yotel has named Phil Andreopoulos as its new CEO to support growth. The Al-Bahar Group, majority shareholder of Yotel, acquired an additional 30% stake, aiming to double the global hotel portfolio to 15,000 rooms by 2030.
Andreopoulos, formerly of Marriott International, brings commercial and operational expertise to Yotel. He plans to enhance distribution, loyalty, and expand the managed and franchise businesses. Yotel’s chairman, Talal Al Bahar, is confident in Andreopoulos’ ability to drive the company’s expansion.
Yotel also welcomed Yvonne Thomsen as CFO, previously of IHG. In 2024, Yotel announced plans to expand its presence in the UK with a new property in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The brand continues to focus on growth and providing memorable experiences for travelers worldwide.
